Editorial standards

How the guides and tool explanations on STSApps are written, reviewed, and corrected.

STSApps is operated by Savvy Tech Sphere, LLC. The same studio that builds the tools writes the supporting content, so the explanations and the software stay in step. This page describes how that content is produced and what you can expect from it. To learn more about the studio, see the about page.

How content is written

Guides and tool explanations are written in plain language by the STSApps team. We aim to explain the real task a tool helps with, show worked examples, and answer the questions people actually ask. We write each piece to be specific to its topic rather than reusing the same template across pages.

How content is reviewed

Before a guide or tool explanation is published, it is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with how the matching tool behaves. We check that examples produce the results we describe and that any figures or formulas are correct at the time of writing. Content ships only after it passes that review.

How we handle corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, we want to fix it. When we learn of an error, we correct the page and, where a change is significant, note what changed. You can report a problem or suggest an improvement through the contact page.

Authorship

Guides carry a byline identifying the STSApps team as the author. We do not publish content from anonymous third parties, and we do not present sponsored material as independent editorial content.

About advice on this site

The tools and guides on STSApps provide general information and everyday utility. They are not professional financial, legal, medical, or tax advice, and they are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. For decisions that carry real consequences, check the figures yourself and consult an appropriate professional before acting.
